I’ve had a few weeks concentrating on music and writing songs and managed to eclipse my output from the last twelve months. Tried out a new one last night “We can make this day” which will be a real stormer I think. We’re in the process of finding a recording space that we can set up for a month or so. Our idea is that we avoid the usual pressure of getting a good backline sound and recording the basic tracks in just a few days – and then spend months overdubbing and tweaking. Also a non-studio environment will give the music a different vibe – hopefully we’ll get a more live sound and have the luxury of recording when we want to and until we get it right!
